The PRYC offers a wide range of youth sports throughout the year. Boys and girls of all ages are invited to learn and have fun with our diverse seasonal offerings held at the youth center and nearby venues.

 

Each program is guided by a distinct set of rules, sponsors, and ranges of player eligibility, so please visit the individual program pages linked at the text heading of each entry to learn more or register your child. Beginner classes will begin each September and meet every every Monday at 6:45PM at the PRYC. Instruction is provided at no charge, but students must be become members of the Pine-Richland Youth Center. Membership rates are available online at www.pryc.org. Classes are geared for and limited to adults and students 10 years of age or older.

 

Parents are encouraged to observe and to attend classes. Many of our accomplished martial artists, including our instructor, Mr. Benton, began attending classes with their children.

 

Our school is part of the Se-Jong system, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit educational organization dedicated to providing free martial arts instruction to anyone with an interest in learning. You can learn more about Se-Jong at www.sejongtkd.org. Anyone interested in learning about our system or classes is encouraged to visit and observe our classes.

KIDS YOGA - AGES 5-7 

Designed for the younger child, this introduction to yoga will teach calmness, appropriate posture and positive life focus. Wear comfortable clothes. You may bring your own yoga mat or a large towel. Ages: 5-8. 

Cost: $45

Dates: Mondays, April 1st-May 13th no class April 15th. 

Time: 5:45-6:30PM

YOGA FOR TWEENS- AGES 8-12

Tweens ages 8-12 years old are invited to focus on the safe, correct way to do yoga postures in a fun way. Yoga strengthens the body making it an excellent complement to other sports as well as everyday life as a student.  This class will also help your tween learn how to relax and unwind, and to focus on the positive.  Wear comfortable clothes.
