THE PRYC IS PROUD TO OFFER A SKI CLUB FOR PINE-RICHLAND 7TH AND 8TH GRADE STUDENTS!
*This club is NOT for the beginner skier. The skier must be able to function without the guidance of an adult/help and must be familiar with the skiing process, gear and rules.
In an effort for more participants to take part; please read carefully:

3 trips can be selected per participant. After December 23rd any remaining seats will be available to all.

Selecting more than 3 trips prior to December 23rd will result in removal from the program.

Each trip will depart from the PRYC at 3:10pm sharp on a Lenzner Coach Bus. We will arrive at Hidden Valley and ski from 4-9pm.

The bus will be limited to 52 students and 3 chaperones!

Students will not be able to board the bus if they do not have proof of a purchased lift ticket and their own equipment!

A chaperone will be stationed on the slopes skiing with the kids and one chaperone will be stationed in the lodge with a small medical kit if needed. This chaperone will be point of contact for all skiers who are in need of an adult

Skiers will need to be back on the bus for a 9:15/9:30pm departure.

Chaperones will have a roster of all children and note their presence!

The PRYC requires a minimum 45 students in order to run each trip.

Spaces will go incredibly fast, so don't delay....we will fill up and begin a waitlist. ONLY reserve the days that you know your child does not have conflicts. We suggest using a desktop computer or laptop.
COSTS

BUS TRANSPORTATION: provided for $45 (plus $3 processing fee)

LIFT TICKETS: need purchased by individual prior to the trip. (proof of purchased ticket/season pass required to board the bus)

EQUIPMENT: proof of own equipment is required to board the bus! (there will be no rentals purchased at hidden valley)
Important Dates and Refund Policy
REGISTERING: TAKE YOUR TIME! ONLY REGISTER FOR 3 TRIPS.
ADJUSTMENTS: IT COSTS MONEY EVERY TIME WE NEED TO ADJUST PAYMENTS IN THE SYSTEM; $5 FEE EACH TIME WE NEED TO ADJUST.
CHAPERONES: THREE CHAPERONES ARE REQUIRED FOR EACH TRIP. SKIING IS NOT NEESSARY. IF WE DON'T GET THREE, THE TRIP DOESN'T RUN. FREE FOR CHAPERONES.
THE REGISTRATION PROCESS: ALL REGISTRAITONS MUST BE FOR YOUR CHILD. YOU CANNOT BOOK FOR OTHER PEOPLE'S CHILDREN UNDER YOUR ACCOUNT. THE PRYC IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR COMPUTER CRASHING OR COMPUTER ERRORS. WE ENCOURAGE THE USE OF DESKTOP OR LAPTOP. PHONES AND IPADS ARE NOT RECOMMENDED. PLEASE, REFRAIN FROM CALLING THE PRYC UPSET AND/OR ANGRY IF YOUR CHILD DOES NOT GET A SPOT. WE WILL WORK OUR WAY THROUGH THE WAITLIST ONE BY ONE.
REFUND POLICY: THE PRYC DOES NOT LIKE CANCELLATIONS. IF YOU MUST CANCEL REQUESTS MUST BE SUBMITTED TO BGANTZ@PRYC.ORG NO LATER THAN THE MONDAY BEFORE THE TRIP BY NOON. THE PRYC WILL ISSUE A REFUND ONLY IF WE ARE ABLE TO FILL THE SEAT WITH A WAITLIST PARTICIPANT. IF A SEAT CAN BE FILLED FROM THE WAITLIST, THE PRYC WILL REFUND THE MONEY LESS A $20 CANCELLATION FEE PER PARTICPANT. CANCELLED TRIPS DUE TO WEATHER ISSUES WILL BE RESCHEDULED OR REFUNDED AT NO COST.
WAITLIST: PARENTS WILL BE EMAILED OR TEXTED. FROM THAT POINT YOU WILL HAVE 15 MINUTES TO RESPOND WITH A YES OR NO ANSWER. TURN ON YOUR EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS ON YOUR PHONE. ASK YOUR CHILD THE WEEK BEFORE EACH TRIP WHETHER OR NOT THEY WANT TO GO. YOU HAVE TO BE READY TO ACCEPT OR DECLINE.

All students must wear a helmet! This can be a bike helmet!

Q: Can I purchase a ticket through PRYC and drive my child to H.V?
A: Sorry, we are not able to provide H.V. single tickets for sale. Many parents choose to drive a group of kids to the slopes to meet up with the ski club. The PRYC is not responsible for non-club participants.
Q: I was going to sign up for 3 trips, but I am not sure if my child will have conflicts.
A: You will be charged $20 for each trip cancelled even if we find a sub. It may be a best idea to check all sports schedules ahead of time.
Q: Why won't you send two busses if there is a waitlist?
A: The PRYC is a non-profit organization. We are not affiliated with the PR school district. Our intention is to send 52 skiers to the slopes, five times per winter. Please look to other organizations for a larger scale club. Our club will remain 52 skiers for 5 trips as this is the most comfortable and safe situation for the PRYC and participants.
Q: Where am I on the waitlist?
A: We do not give out waitlist details simply because we do not have the staff or time due to overwhelming amount of requests. We will begin with children who did not get a seat on ANY of the trips and go from there. This is the fairest way to do it. Where am I on the waitlist questions will not be answered. Sorry for the inconvenience. Once notified that your child is moved from the waitlist to a trip you will have 15 minutes to respond. We move quickly otherwise, we never get answers and we must move on.
Q: Everything was in my cart and when I submitted it said the trips were no longer available. Why?
A: The club sold out in less than 2 minutes. We cannot control the order in which this happens. The registration platform is out of our control.
