COST PER TRIP: $62.00

Helmet (Required): $10.60 (can be a bike helmet) price includes 6% tax
Ski Rental (skis, boots and poles): $20.14 price includes 6% tax
Snow Board Rental (Board and boots): $20.14 price includes 6% tax
A Ski Club is a great escape for our Pine-Richland 6th, 7th and 8th Graders!
Arrive at the PRYC no later than 3PM on day of trip.
Each trip will depart from the PRYC at 3:10PM on a Coach Lenzer Bus. We will arrive at Hidden Valley Ski Resort just in time for their twilight session which will runs from 4-9:30PM.
The bus will be limited to 52 students and 3 chaperones!
When we arrive at HV, a chaperone will depart the bus and gather all lift tickets and extras from the group center. We will distribute the tickets and off we will go to a great night of skiing. Two chaperones will be stationed on the slopes skiing with the kids and one chaperone will be stationed in the lodge with a small medical kit if needed. This chaperone will be a point of contact for all skiers who are in need of an adult.
Skiers will need to be back on the bus for a 10PM departure. Chaperones will have a roster of all children and note their presence!
The PRYC requires a minimum of 45 seats to be sold in order for trips to run. Online registration only. Only experienced skiers are permitted to attend. Skiers must be self-sufficient and able to conduct themselves away from home with limited supervision. All phones and personal items are the participants responsibility. Lockers are available. We cannot hold the bus at the PRYC if you forgot something at home or if you are late. Please plan.
CHAPERONES ARE NEEDED:
In order for this trip to run, 3 chaperones are needed for each trip. Cost is covered for each chaperone and you do not need to ski! We need chaperone assistance for emergency/first aid, general questions, and departure from H.V. head count, and bus control. Can you help us? Indicate your desire to help when prompted on registration. *Child Abuse and Criminal Record Check Forms Needed.
Season Pass Holders: If your child is a season pass holder at H.V. and they would like to participate, you must purchase a lift ticket during the registration process. The PRYC will refund $22 to you upon completion of trip. The $40 covers the bus transportation to and from.
REGISTRATION: If a trip is canceled due to lack of interest or weather conditions, a full refund will be made within 14 business days. Would you like to purchase more than one trip? Place multiple trips within your shopping cart! We suggest using a laptop or desktop please. Follow directions, take your time and read carefully through when registering please. There are NO paper applications this year. No exceptions.
CODE OF CONDUCT: Participants must be able to function with limited direct adult supervision. Participants should maintain themselves in a manner that is respectful to themselves, the community, the chaperones, the PRYC, Lenzner Bus Lines and Hidden Valley at all times. Any participant with instances of disruption or disrespect will not be permitted to continue within the club. No tobacco or vape devices allowed on any person. Participants caught with any tobacco or vaping devices will be expelled from the club. No swearing or bullying allowed.
DEADLINES: Register ONLINE No Later than the Following Dates: At this date we need to secure and pay for the coach bus! We must meet our minimum of 45 by this date or the trip is cancelled. So please plan ahead!

Sick Child/Refund Policy: The PRYC will issue a refund only if we are able to fill the seat with a waitlist participant. Due to the overwhelming amount of cancellations in 2018-19 and the huge administrative task…4PM the day before the trip is the last chance for the administration to find a replacement from the waitlist. After 4pm, their will be no refunds processed and the waitlist will close.
WAITLIST: Parents will be emailed/called and texted. From that point you will have 15 minutes to respond with a yes or no answer.
A Note from Lisa Finn: If 2019-20 is anything like 2018-19 then registration will go quickly! This year, I am launching information earlier than registration starts in order for families to check calendars and plan. Also, I need chaperones, and this often times means that you have to leave work a bit early that day. So, let's get planning! Registration opens on November 1st.
