PARENT NIGHT OUT-CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEED and SIBLINGS/FRIENDS

Drop your children off at the Pine-Richland Youth Center for a night of games, crafts and snacks while you enjoy an evening out. Our programming staff is specially trained to work with children with special needs and their siblings or friends! Ages K-8th grade. All staff are certified special education teachers. Join us at the PRYC as we are Silver Sneakers approved facility. We offer a walking track, along with the Anytime Fitness Weight Room that hosts an elliptical, bike, and treadmill for members use. In the fall and winter months, walkers come in the morning between the hours of 8:30AM-11AM to use our track. Our indoor track is great for inclement weather days or for those people who may need a rest break on our bleachers! There is no charge to visit us, simply sign up at the front desk by showing your Silver Sneakers membership card.
Join other area men playing basketball and getting in shape! Teams will be formed based on number of players in attendance. This program is sponsored by our good friends at Anytime Fitness. $3 drop in fee each session due at the front desk in cash please. Or, players may choose to pay a $40 one time fee. Just show up any night, no registration required.

FRIDAY NIGHT WINTER BLAST CAMP 2020

This Friday night camp style atmosphere will be sure to chase the winter blues away. Gym time, crafts, bouncy house, sports, movie night, snack time, games and more! This camp will make a terrific holiday gift for all parents who need a break! There is a maximum of 20 campers so be sure to sign up early!
Friday Nights: January 3, 10, 17, 24, 31, and February 7. (six weeks)
Who: Kids ages 3.5 through Grade 3
Cost: $100 per child for six weeks
Time: 6-9 PM
Instructors: Summer Camp Counselors Madison Boyd and Danielle Ridgeway will be leading this program!
We must have a minimum required of 15 to run this camp. Children must be at least 3 1/2 years of age (potty trained) to participate. This program is suitable for a child that easily separates from parents and is comfortable in a large group/camp style environment.
The PRYC hosts BAC Training Academy, an integrated canine obedience course. The training takes place in eight sessions, and is open for all dogs from beginners to those more experienced with obedience training. Please visit the website and reach out to Sue! http://www.bactrainingacademy.com
Pittsburgh Fencing Club at PRYC

Beginner classes will begin Monday, September 9, 2019, at 6:45 pm. and meet every Monday. Instruction is provided at no charge, but students must be become members of the Pine-Richland Youth Center. Classes are geared for and limited to adults and students 10 years of age or older. Parents are encouraged to observe and to attend classes - many of our accomplished martial artists, including our instructor, Mr. Benton, began attending classes with their children.
Our school is part of the Se-Jong system, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit educational organization dedicated to providing free martial arts instruction to anyone with an interest in learning. You can learn more about Se-Jong at www.sejongtkd.org. Anyone interested in learning about our system or classes is encouraged to visit and observe our classes.

Fall 2019 season will run from September 7th- November 9th
Games will be played on Saturdays between the hours of 9-2PM with the specific schedules TBD.

We are a community league and as such we limit contact and encourage sportsmanship. We do utilize a scoreboard and honor wins and losses in all age groups!
Referees are provided for the older age groups (Coach ref 4-6)

Jersey Fee: $25 if you already have a jersey and it fits, no need to purchase new.

QUICK SKILLS SOCCER
Quick Skills Soccer is a local Pittsburgh based soccer training company. It was established in 1999 by Jerry Concannon, Owner and Director, for the purpose of providing quality, instructional training and products for the developing soccer player.
Throughout our years in business, we have trained thousands of players through our year-round camp and clinic structure, and have expanded our business to provide training to local community soccer organizations and clubs. In addition, our qualified and licensed staff work personally one-on-one with individuals, conduct small group and team training sessions, and provide coaching education clinics and courses to local coaches.
We train every player, from beginner to advanced, with respect to their skills and standard of play and work with each individual to make them well-rounded soccer athletes who can succeed at the game and enjoy it as well!

JEFF THE GEODE GUY
We will learn what a geode is, where they are from and even have the opportunity to crack a geode open to take home! Jeff the Geode Guy has just returned from a trip to Mexico with all new geodes! We are thrilled to educate ourselves on these fascinating rocks with crystals inside! Each child will work with Jeff to crack open their very own geode to see what is hidden within! Suitable for children in Grades K-5. If you child loves science and discovery then this program is a perfect fit!
Registration deadline is January 3rd. Max Participants:25. Parents may wait in the lobby area/ conference room or drop and go!
