The Pine Richland Youth Center

The Indoor Field Hockey program at the Pine Richland Youth Center is OPEN to all Greater Pittsburgh Area Field Hockey Players in Grades 4-12. All playing levels are welcome beginner to varsity level. The coaching staff consists of knowledgeable and experienced indoor field hockey coaches and players who are excited to teach and coach the sport to area field hockey players.

BABYSITTING BY THE ELVES

Need time to Christmas shop? Leave your kids with qualified young adults to care for them as you shop.

Ages: 5-10

From 9-3 on Dec 6 & Dec 20.

Minimum # of kids: 10

Fee: $6/hr for 1^st child, each sibling is $3 more /hr.

Pizza/snack provided. Pre-register by 11/29 & 12/13.

The Pine-Richland Youth Center is proud to announce their 2008-2009 After School Program that will run from September 8, 2008 – May 29, 2009. This program is focused on the following content areas and child based activities…

Sessions will be held Monday through Friday from 3:00 – 6:00pm. At the Pine-Richland Youth Center located in Gibsonia, PA.

This program is being offered to all people with disorders that impair the development of social, emotional, physical and academic skills regardless of age. Supervision will be provided by the Director, Pine-Richland School District student volunteers and Slippery Rock University students majoring in special education.

The main focus of our program will be…..

To develop social interaction skills with peers & adults.
To develop physical fitness.
To facilitate social, emotional, recreational and academic growth.
To involve participants in community activities through inclusion.
To promote and develop self-worth and positive self images.
To develop and achieve IEP goals… selected by parents.
To assist with the development of life skills.

Zumba is an awesome fitness program, which uses interval cardio training and resistance moves to give you a great workout, but has the feel of a dance party!! Zumba is a fusion of Latin and international music and dance moves that are EASY to follow! No dance experience required, and work at your own pace!!!

We rely completely on program revenue, facility rentals and donations from the private sector to meet our annual budget and to continue to be a resource for the local community.
